Artist takes the basic yellow bus to a new school,

Erni Vales, a graffiti and mural artist from New York, works Friday in a Milwaukee warehouse painting eight busses that are being readied for a summer concert tour for Dos Equis beer. Vales is following three basic design patterns but customizing each bus.

Vales spray paints details on one of the busses. The artist got his start in New York’s subways and, according to his website – ernidesigns.com – “Nothing today ever matched the simple thrill of doing, in essence, large-scale murals in poor lighting on (those) giant steel canvasses.”
